I was making sometattered strip roses today and thoughtI would take some picturesalong the way to show you how to do them ~
1. Tear a strip of muslin4 inches wide by 2 yards ~This will make 2 small rosesor one large ~
2. Sew the strip in halfand then cut in about halfinch sections ~ I sewedmine with a serger butany machine will do ~
3. Tea dye and let dry in thesun ~When dry kind of scrunch itin your hands to makeit all tattered ~
4. Gather either by handor on a machine ~ I useda gathering foot so itlooks pleated but doesn't have to be ~
5. Glue on to a piece offelt or canvas usingthe instructions here~
6. Glue a jewel or pearlsin the center and that is it!!
