This week abounded in assorted trend reports, which predict the upcoming colors, fabrics, and styles all the way up to autumn/winter 2016! It’s great to know what is trending on the horizon, so that when we shop for our clothes this year we will not be outdated next year! And good news! Many emerging designers have already incorporated these new trends into their AW12 and SS13 collections.
Take the NINH Collection above for an example of the punk revival in stud and spike embellishments, which have transformed the classic prep look into a modern-day steampunk--a type of neo-Victorian, post-apocalyptic, science fiction soldier.
Well, not all emerging trends are so out of the ordinary. Solid takes us to the Nordic trails of lumberjacks, city Bohemians, and urban workers, while Bespoken pulls together in one look the toughness of the British woodlands and the classic tradition of Savile Row.
Finally, for all you folks who enjoy hunks in trunks, check out Geronimo, the swimwear and underwear label from the Black Sea!
