Here is a sneak peak:
It has been an exciting week with fashion weeks and after parties raging around the world. So, what's trending for the upcoming AW/12 and SS/13 seasons? It's what I call "eclectic retroism."
As seen in G.P.P.R.'s AW/12 look (above), we can expect lots of striped chunky knits in a true Brit silhouette with an outdoorsy, almost into the woods feel. Colors long for the calm natural habitat of South American mountain ranges, while the rebellious spirit of the Sixties revives multi-color prints. Deep purples and reds on black and gold with a sparkle of the disco ball reminisce of the Seventies.
For spring/summer 2016, rebellion turns radical as trends go "old school" with floral prints, scoop neck tees, and sun-bleached denims. Colors appear vibrant like the flavors of a refreshing gelato in the summer heat: strawberry, spearmint, melon, limeade, and blueberry. Tailoring is geometric, semi-formal, and sleek, influenced by sportswear and composed of hybrid fabrics.
